Aramsa ~ The Garden Spa stays true to its name – the spa is beautifully landscaped in all-natural concept with earthy décor and glorious gardens, and featuring an incredible 22,000 plants from 200 species. There is simply no escaping the ‘at one with nature’ feel, from the reception to the treatment rooms to the alfresco dining at the Green Room Café and Canopy Garden Dining & Bar. Pebble paths lined with scented herb gardens lead to 17 separate treatment suites including couple suites, a hydrotherapy suite and a Vichy shower suite, all of which replicate the outdoor garden feel, complete with outdoor rain showers and sunken garden baths.

Aramsa’s exclusively created products tap into the curative powers of nature, using botanical extracts and herbs as well as nutritive ingredients including essential oil, coconut, ginger, marine mud and seaweed. A combination of traditional Asian and Western massage techniques are used to relax and soothe the body, mind and soul.

One of their signature garden packages is the “Tropical Java Lulur”, which begins with a rice and turmeric scrub before a nourishing yoghurt mask followed by an Aramsa Touch Massage, and fi nally a fl oral garden bath to complete the experience. Aramsa Spa’s signature Aramsa Touch massage is a fusion of Eastern meridian and Western massage techniques, focusing on nothing less than complete relaxation.

The multitude of massages offered at Aramsa include acupressure, Swedish, Thai and rhythmic Hawaiian massages. Aramsa also offers traditional treatments like Boreh scrub and Rawatan Halia, the latter incorporating therapeutic Indonesian ginger ball rub combined with a beneficial ginger cream exfoliation and fi rming abdomen massage. Other spa therapies include body scrubs, ear candling, cold stone treatments, water treatments and body wraps. An outdoor shower or a soothing garden bath is the ultimate in solitary water refinement, with choices ranging from rainforest shower, milk & rose, floral infused and mineral detox. All water therapies start with gentle dry brushing.

To compliment the spa’s philosophy of encompassing nature with natural living there are several healthy dining and recreational options that make Aramsa a one-stop wellness experience. The Spa’s Pilates studio PowerMoves specialises in enhancing flexibility, coordination and strength building. UNB Aramsa provides manicures and pedicures; using Cuccio quality products to pamper hands and feets. The Ultimate and Classic packages start with a fresh milk soak to nourish the skin, followed by rich Cuccio exfoliation and a fresh coat of OPI paint for the nails.

The Green Room Café is vegetarian dining at its best. Catering to all strict health afi cionados, this vegetarian café uses fresh ingredients in delicious healthy dishes, served either indoors or alfresco among the gardens. Health drinks ranging from herbal teas to smoothies to power juices have been specially created to provide preventative health benefi ts. The Stylish Canopy Garden Dining and bar serves modern Australian cuisines as well as hearty Sunday brunches. The alfresco bar opens after 5 pm and serves quality wines, wine cocktails, spirits and beers, alongside tempting bar snacks to help you unwind for the day.
