Custom-built premises
Each branch has an insurance approved category 3, 4 or 5 bank vault, which is necessary in instances where we have to store money overnight. The branch is monitored by closed circuit television and all procedures are dual control.
CASH360 - An intelligent solution that really counts
CASH360 has been designed to optimize the latest secure handling machines by integrating them with G4S software and combining them with its cash transportation and processing services. This enables – for the very first time – a single source provider, G4S, to look after retailers’ entire cash management requirements. In doing so, it reduces time spent on counting and reconciliation, gives staff more time to focus on selling and can virtually eliminate opportunities for internal or external theft. The aim of extending our solution to our client’s value chain is to improve our performance and create long-term sustainability.

ATM end-to-end
The G4S end-to-end ATM service enables banks to streamline processes and increase the profitability of their ATM business by assigning numerous tasks to a single party. This one-stop service comprises all aspects and operations of sophisticated ATM outsourcing and is based on long-standing experience and state-of-the-art technologies. Prior to a planned commissioning we give advice to our customers on feasibility and conduct a site analysis to identify the optimal location of the planned installation site and ATM type. Operational ATM support services have been our core competency for more than two decades. Our cash management model is characterised by a proactive cash forecasting and replenishment system. This results in a noticeable increase in availability. Our integrated reconciliation solution increases productivity and reduces costs through automated processes. As an outsourcing partner we are offering a true end-to end solution to meet the needs of clients that want to outsource the whole ATM value chain to one single, reliable partner.
Armoured vehicles
Our new armoured fleet is built to withstand the firepower of weapons such as the AK 47. The vehicles have double rear wheels for further stability and are fitted with ABS retarder braking systems, which ensures fast safe braking under all circumstances. The vault in the vehicle comprises dropsafes, with both interlocking immobilising and global locking systems that are controlled remotely. The unique interlocking and immobilising system, prevents more than one door at a time being opened. In the case where the driver is forced out of the vehicle, the vehicle totally shuts down with the vault doors being locked into place. All vehicles are equipped with communication.

We adhere to very strict recruitment procedures and ensure that all applicants complete a psychometric profile test, undergo polygraph analysis and have a clear record with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority in South Africa. Once employed a detailed employment contract is signed so that the employee knows exactly what is expected of them. Employees then undergo training and development and are encouraged to aspire towards and accept the many opportunities available within the larger group.
