food, the evolution of Spazio is a story in itself. “Even though securing the prestigious location had been initially declined, I was determined to give it another shot”, Mr. Al-Khathlan explains. “When I met Prince Waleed bin Talal, the owner of the tower in which we are situated, I told him that he had nothing to lose by looking at our plans. If he didn’t like what we had conceptualized, he was free to decline with no obligation on his part. Fortunately, he was beyond impressed by our plans and agreed immediately on the courageous yet innovative approach to use the initial ‘service floor’ as a reflection of the ultimate luxury. That’s how Spazio came into being”, Mr. Al-Khathlan says.
