Its educators are also of various nationalities the likes of UK, USA, Australia, Canada, India, Singapore and Thailand. Almost 70 percent of which possess more than five years’ experience teaching in an international school.

As an International Baccalaureate World School, Excelsior offers an integrated pathway starting from Nursery up to Grade 12. The IB Primary Years Programme is applied to Kindergarten to Grade 5 (Pre-School to Junior school) while Grades 6 to 8 (Lower Middle School) use the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme (CLSP). Grades 9 to 10 are offered the International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE), which is the world’s most prevalent international qualification for 14 to 16-year-olds. Recognised by universities and employers worldwide, it also prepares them for the IB Diploma Programme that they will undertake in Grades 11 and 12 (High School).

The IB qualification also grooms students for further studies in disciplines like Business, Medicine, Law, Psychology and Engineering at local and foreign universities including Australian National University, Macquarie University, Queen’s University, University of Manchester, Purdue University, University of San Francisco and Nanyang Technological University.
The multicultural facet of the student population also means that strong second language programmes are offered at Excelsior. These include French, Korean, Mandarin and English as a second language for some students.
