Guests can feast on lovely views of the garden through the full-glass windows of the Halia’s air-conditioned dining room, or dine alfresco on the elevated wooden deck outdoor. When night falls, an ambience of romance descends upon the Halia, lit only by discreet lamps, candles and moonlight. And two Sunday evenings a month, diners are serenaded by live jazz performances during their meals.
| The Halia has been winning the hearts of discerning guests with its Western cuisine tinged with an Asian influence for the past decade. Its signature dishes include Roasted Rack of Lamb in Javanese Spice, Chilean Seabass en Papillote, Prawn Satay Salad with Ginger Flower Dressing and Chilli Crab Spaghettini.
As irresistible as the menu is, you should really save some space for the restaurant’s delicious desserts. Try its special Halia’s Rojak, which comprises fresh fruits, chilli chocolate sauce, chopped peanuts, white sesame seed and homemade ginger flower sherbet, or euphoria-inducing Warm Chocolate Torte with a melted Valrhona centre, vanilla ice cream and kirsch-marinated strawberries.
A definite must-try is the Halia’s unique selection of caffeine-free Halia Infusions, which are served

in a specially designed wooden box-tray. Individually sealed portions of spiced ginger that have been exclusively imported from Hanoi in Vietnam are packed into a traditional cloth pouch and placed into a half-full glass of boiling water. A few drops of wild honey from the mountains of northern Vietnam are then added to sweeten and perfume the beverage, which is left to infuse for 10 minutes.
| The Halia’s lovely garden setting makes it an especially gorgeous location for Sunday brunch. Its a la carte brunch menu features traditional breakfast items like Bircher Muesli with Fresh Fruits and Wild Mountain Honey, thick, fluffy Cinnamon & Honeycomb Butter French Toast and Poached Egg on Ocean Trout. The Halia also provides an assortment of buttery scones, ginger-perfumed cream, home-style apricot and ginger jam, freshly baked cakes, macaroons and canapés for their Premium Tea Set.
In 2007, the Halia expanded its premises with the opening of Villa Halia. The Villa Halia comprises three distinct areas: the Wine Bar, Courtyard and the Gallery Room. Each space may be reserved for intimate small parties or the entire villa may be used for a large party of 300 guests and more.
The Villa Halia offers the best of both worlds for party planners; the choice of a beautiful natural outdoor environment or air conditioned comfort in a luxurious setting.

The Halia’s fabulous concept proved so successful that it was exported to Hanoi in 2008. Guests escape from the city din into a haven of peace; they linger over drinks and tapas at the ground floor bar, whilst dinner is enjoyed at the upper level in a refined modern space.
In Hanoi or in Singapore, guests will love their dining experience as the beautiful setting is matched with creative cuisine and friendly, professional service.
