Wesgro is a Schedule 3C Public Entity as defined in the Public Finance Management Act 1999 (Act 1 of 1999), as amended. The Western Cape Investment and Trade Promotion Agency Law Act 3 of 1996 as amended (the “Act”), is the Provincial Legislation responsible for the establishment of the Western Cape Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (Wesgro). The Directors of Wesgro confirm their commitment to the King II Report on Corporate Governance for South Africa 2002 (the “King Report 2002”). Responsible corporate citizenship and sound governance practices remain one of the top priorities of the Board, its committees and management.
